About the role

Patrila Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Foreman to join our construction team in Pavia, Iloilo. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects. As Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on site, managing labour teams, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction crews to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications
• Monitor daily work progress and report updates to project management and clients
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies on all job sites
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control standards and address any deficiencies immediately
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment inventory, ensuring proper storage and maintenance
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues
• Train and mentor construction workers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Document work completion, project timelines, and any incidents or concerns that arise during construction
• Liaise between site operations and management to ensure project goals and deadlines are met

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman capacity
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards relevant to the industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications
• Solid understanding of project management and quality control principles
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as required
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional local languages is beneficial
• Certification in construction safety or First Aid is preferred but not essential
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions
