Foreman

Job Summary

Responsible for managing crew members in construction and maintenance activities on natural gas facilities. Maintains and holds full set of Operator Qualifications. Capable of managing main-line, service, or maintenance crews. Knowledgeable in training crew members, construction procedures and mapping of gas utilities. Following all company safety, policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members to follow all policies & procedures.
• Plans, directs, oversees, & participates in all activities associated with construction for delegated projects.
• Responsible for appropriate marking of underground utility locates before excavation.
• Ensure proper function of equipment & tools.
• Provide customer service regarding complaints and/or questions during construction & maintenance.
• Lead in welding operations & pipe joining procedures.
• Identifies, addresses, & reports safety issues and concerns.
• Responsible for safe operation & inspection of assigned company vehicle and equipment.
• Any other duties assigned.

Requirements

• Located in the Kansas.
• Atmos fusion certified.
• Locus View knowledge.
• Ability to operate equipment.
• Maintain appropriate Operator Qualifications.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, & leaning new programs.
• Wear proper PPE for all work.
• Clean driving record (CDL preferred).
• May be required to work shifts, holidays, weekends, and extended hours.
• Subject to reporting outside regular work areas.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
