Foreman

Responsible for supervising daily site activities, assigning work to personnel, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved plans, specifications, and schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of plumbers, electricians, laborers, and other assigned workers.
• Assign tasks, monitor attendance, and ensure that personnel understand their responsibilities.
• Review work plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor work quality, productivity, and compliance with project schedules.
• Ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are available and properly utilized.
• Inspect completed work and address deficiencies before acceptance.
• Enforce workplace safety rules, proper PPE use, and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with the project engineer, site supervisor, contractors, and other concerned personnel.
• Identify work delays, technical issues, and material shortages and report them promptly.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work accomplishments, materials used, and site concerns.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved procedures and applicable regulations.
• Provide guidance to workers and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or vocational/technical course graduate; relevant technical training is an advantage.
• Proven experience in construction, facility maintenance, or industrial site supervision.
• Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical works, and general construction activities.
• Ability to interpret plans, organize manpower, and monitor work progress.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Relevant supervisory or safety training is an advantage.
