DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Supervision of Construction Activities

• Supervise and direct workers, including masons, carpenters, tile setters, painters, plumbers, electricians, and general laborers, depending on the assigned project.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure that workers understand the scope, sequence, and required quality of their work.
• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure that work is performed according to approved plans, specifications, and instructions from the Project Engineer or Site Engineer.
• Ensure that manpower is properly deployed and that assigned work is completed within the prescribed schedule.
• Monitor workers' attendance, punctuality, productivity, and compliance with company rules and site regulations.
• Provide on-site guidance and technical instructions to workers to maintain proper workmanship and productivity.

B. Quality Control and Workmanship

• Inspect completed and ongoing works to ensure compliance with approved plans, construction standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor finishing works, including masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing, ceiling installation, plumbing fixtures, and other assigned activities.
• Identify defective, incomplete, or nonconforming works and ensure that necessary corrections are undertaken promptly.
• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel and engineers during inspections, testing, and acceptance of completed works.
• Ensure that all rectification and punch-list items are properly addressed before inspection and project turnover.
• Immediately report major construction defects, technical concerns, and deviations from approved plans to the immediate supervisor.

C. Manpower and Material Management

• Monitor the availability and proper utilization of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite.
• Ensure that materials issued to workers are used efficiently and are not wasted, damaged, or misappropriated.
• Coordinate material requirements with the Site Engineer or Material Control personnel to avoid delays in construction activities.
• Monitor the condition and proper storage of tools, equipment, and unused materials.
• Report shortages, damaged materials, equipment issues, and unauthorized use of company property.

D. Safety and Housekeeping

• Ensure that workers comply with site safety policies, procedures, and applicable occupational safety requirements.
• Check that workers use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the assigned work area.
• Immediately report accidents, unsafe conditions, near misses, and safety violations to the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure that construction tools, materials, and debris are properly organized to prevent accidents and obstruction of work areas.

E. Reporting and Coordination

• Prepare and submit daily accomplishment reports, manpower reports, and other required site documentation.
• Monitor actual work accomplishments against the approved project schedule and report delays or productivity concerns.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC personnel, subcontractors, and other concerned departments regarding work requirements and site issues.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on manpower, work progress, material requirements, and construction concerns.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

Pay: From Php15,000.00 per month
