Job Title: Construction Foreman
Department: Construction / Site Operations
Reports To: Site Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Project Site

Job Summary

The Construction Foreman is responsible for supervising daily site activities, managing workers, coordinating construction tasks, and ensuring that all work is completed according to project drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities.
• Assign tasks to workers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Ensure construction work follows approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor work progress and ensure project schedules are met.
• Maintain quality standards and inspect completed work.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and project managers.
• Monitor the use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Report daily progress, manpower attendance, and site issues to management.
• Identify site problems and coordinate solutions with the engineering team.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area remains clean and organized.
• Ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support material planning and avoid unnecessary material wastage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage manpower and coordinate multiple site activities.
• Knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
