Hiring Experienced Trim & Framing Carpenters

Qualifications;

• Minimum 10 years of Professional, full-time Carpentry Experience.
• Must have reliable Transportation & valid Driver's License.
• Multi-skilled position requiring- Professional Carpentry experience in multiple aspects including; Framing, Exterior/Interior Trim, Siding, Decking, Window/Door installations, flashing and familiarity or trainable in methods and materials unique to coastal residential construction.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be positive, forward thinking, trainable, a team player and able to take instruction and professional correction when necessary.
• Must be able to safely and efficiently meet physical demands of 10hr work days while performing a multitude of typical construction tasks.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100lbs, climb ladders, work on heights up to 40' if needed.
• Personal tools should commensurate and compliment experience. LBI provides most specialty power tools. You provide basic tools on par with experience or beyond if preferred.
• Candidates must be employable as a W-2 employee.
• Spanish & English preferred but not required.

Duties & Responsibilities;

• Complete tasks in all areas of Carpentry as assigned by management and within the standard metrics required.
• Ability to productively, efficiently and safely lead a small crew (3) to complete tasks is preferred but not required. (Lead Carpenter potential.)
• Must be able to organize completion of individually assigned tasks safely, productively and efficiently to LBI quality standards.
• Respect work schedule requirements and plan accordingly.
• 90 day probationary period. Pessimists, excuse makers and foot draggers need not apply, we do not babysit. Optimism and forward thinking win the day.
• LBI has a Zero-Tolerance drug policy for all employees and job sites.

Benefits/Compensation;

• Pay range $22 - $32hr.
• Full time, forty hour work weeks with optional overtime.

• Work schedule 4/10's. Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday if desired.
