What they need

Are you an experienced Foreman or tradesperson ready to step up and lead a team?

Our valued client is looking for a practical, organised and hands-on Foreman to lead projects involving epoxy and polyurethane coatings, sports flooring, safety surfaces and other specialised coating systems.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the tools while also taking ownership of the job. You’ll organise your team, communicate with clients and contractors, maintain high quality and safety standards, and ensure projects are delivered to specification and on time.

About the role

As Foreman, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of projects on site, including:

  • Leading and organising the site team to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Managing projects to ensure agreed deadlines are met
  • Liaising professionally with clients and contractors on site
  • Working hands-on alongside the team applying epoxy, polyurethane and specialised coating systems
  • Ensuring products are applied in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Completing daily quality assurance documentation
  • Managing variations and ensuring appropriate approval is received before additional work is undertaken
  • Completing required project administration and documentation, including SSSP requirements

About you

We’re looking for someone who leads from the front and takes pride in delivering a quality job.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Previous Foreman, team leadership, construction, flooring, coatings or relevant trade experience
  • Strong practical and hands-on ability
  • Confidence leading and organising a team on site
  • Good planning and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
  • A genuine commitment to health and safety
  • Confidence communicating with clients, contractors and team members
  • The ability to accurately complete site documentation and administration
  • A willingness to learn and maintain relevant industry training and certifications
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when projects require it

Experience with epoxy coatings, polyurethane systems, resin flooring, sports surfaces or similar specialised applications would be highly regarded.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects while still being actively involved in the work. You’ll lead your team from site set-up through to completion, ensuring quality, safety and deadlines are kept on track.

If you’re an experienced tradesperson ready for the next step, or an established Foreman looking for a hands-on leadership opportunity, we want to hear from you.

Apply now with your CV and tell us about the experience you can bring to the role.
