What they need

Luck Stone’s Atlanta Plant is looking to hire a Foreman to lead our ecosystems, landfill, and concrete recycling operations. This role is equal parts leadership and hands-on expertise — directing daily operations, supervising and developing associates, keeping equipment running to company standards, and making sure every shift is safe, compliant, and productive. You’ll work closely with plant leadership, internal teams, and external partners to drive continuous improvement and represent Luck Stone with the professionalism and care our neighbors and customers expect. At Luck Stone, great foremen don’t just run operations — they build the people around them.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership and direction to associates supporting ecosystems, landfill, and concrete recycling operations
  • Supervise and execute operational, maintenance, and project goals
  • Proactively maintain safe operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations at all times
  • Follow Luck Stone quality control programs and uphold aesthetics standards across the site
  • Represent Luck Stone professionally with neighbors, customers, and inspectors
  • Act as backup to the Plant Manager as needed
  • Work with internal teams and technical resources to drive continual improvement and efficiencies
  • Support the ongoing development of yourself and your direct reports through training, succession planning, and growth opportunities
  • Ensure mobile and operational equipment are maintained to company standards
  • Track and record operational data using current software systems
  • Maintain training and regulatory documentation
  • Manage and facilitate the time management system
  • Work with vendors and MMCs to stay current on technical and maintenance products
  • Provide input to annual budgets and monthly forecast updates

What You Bring

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in environmental, landfill, concrete recycling, or related heavy industry operations

Licenses & Certifications: DMME Blasters Certification and DMME Foreman Certification or Certified Competent Person required

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ability to safely operate and maintain heavy equipment, and the physical ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds

Attitude: A leader who lives company values, communicates clearly, and brings out the best in the people around them

Schedule
Onsite at the Atlanta Plant, Monday through Friday. Primary hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with one rotating 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM shift per week. Expect frequent exposure to dusty and outdoor conditions across all weather, including work around landfill operations, concrete recycling areas, quarry high walls, elevated positions, and tunnels.
