Role Description The Foreman EV 2W role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Colombo District. The role includes supervising day-to-day workshop operations for electric two-wheelers, coordinating technician activities, and ensuring repair and maintenance work is completed to required standards and timelines. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues in EV 2W vehicles, overseeing the proper use of tools and heavy equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures. The Foreman will monitor inventory levels for parts and consumables, support training and guidance for the technical team, and communicate job status and technical issues to management and other stakeholders. The role requires hands-on involvement in maintenance activities and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, with experience overseeing technical teams and workshop operations.
• Candidates should possess experience working with heavy equipment and tools used in EV or automotive service environments.
• Candidates should possess clear and effective communication skills for coordinating with technicians, management, and customers.
• Candidates should possess practical maintenance skills, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Experience in EV 2W or automotive service, including familiarity with safety standards and quality control practices, is beneficial.
• A technical qualification or certification in automotive technology, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment are desirable.
