Foreman - Plumbing Operations

Position Summary

AMPAM is seeking an experienced Foreman to provide field leadership and oversight of commercial plumbing operations on construction projects. The Foreman will coordinate daily activities, supervise field personnel, ensure quality workmanship, maintain project schedules, and promote a safe work environment. This role serves as the primary field leader for the plumbing trade and works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and trade partners to achieve project goals.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules and production goals.
• Assign tasks, monitor crew productivity, and ensure quality workmanship.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment need.
• Maintain compliance with safety programs, company policies, and applicable codes.
• Communicate project updates, manpower needs, and field issues to management.
• Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce safe work practices.
• Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and journeymen.
• Perform jobsite inspections and ensure work is completed according to project specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman, Lead Plumber, or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
