About the Role

NCF is looking for an experienced Foreman – Utilities/Services to provide leadership and management across civil works (incl: kerb, pavement, service relocation- water/sewer/telcoms, excavation and/or basement construction projects).

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes pride in quality outcomes, and brings a strong background in civil construction, including services/utilities and pavement construction.

Key Responsibilities

Works including:

• Water, sewer, stormwater, electrical underground installations and trench works
• Earthworks & earthmoving equipment
• Pavement construction
• Concrete works – formwork, reinforcement, concrete install, concrete repair
• Lead daily site activities and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment
• Plan daily activities and coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and levels.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification
• Support and mentor workers to uphold high standards and teamwork
• Communicate progress with Project Managers and resolve site issues promptly
• Uphold compliance with OH&S, environmental, and quality requirements
• Contribute to planning, productivity, and continuous improvement onsite
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

About You

• Experience minimum 10 years as a Foreman in civil construction with significant experience with works involving Services/Utilities
• Strong knowledge of civil works involving utilities/services, pavement construction and earthworks
• Willingness to work across Melbourne Vic
• Strong practical knowledge of civil works, including piling, excavation and basement projects
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications and levels.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
