Foreman/Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman/Electrician to oversee electrical projects and lead a team of electricians. This role involves hands-on electrical work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. The ideal candidate will be a Utah electrical journeyman with strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of electrical systems and codes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, supervising crew members, and maintaining quality workmanship on various electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with Utah electrical codes and standards.
• Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
• Inspect work sites regularly to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential hazards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold safety standards by enforcing OSHA regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Utah electrical journeyman license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
• Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a safe work environment.

Pay: $42.00 - $52.00 per hour
