Foreman/Equipment Operator

Big D Paving Company Inc. is an asphalt paving company that specializes in excavation, site work, parking lot and court construction.
Tasks assigned will involve physical labor. May operate a variety of hand tools and large equipment.
The following responsibilities are a brief overview of what we are looking for in potential employees, and does not imply that all positions will perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.
Have knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work, and the ability to use them properly and safely. Ability to read plans and interpret them accordingly. Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Maintain a clean work area: pick up all tools and equipment and secure work area each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
