Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Forging Press Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate heavy forging presses to produce critical automotive parts, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency throughout the production process. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for quality and innovation in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate forging presses and forming machines to shape metal components according to technical specifications
• Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production runs
• Utilize measurement instruments and precision tools for quality control and measurement of finished parts
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during machine operation and material handling
• Perform machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to optimize performance and minimize downtime

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forging presses or similar forming machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints (GD&T)
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments for quality inspection and precision measurement in machining processes
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and commitment to safety protocol
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for quality inspection and measurement accuracy
