Forklift Driver

Chandler Macleod is seeking fit and motivated experienced Forklift Drivers to join a leading freight transport provider.
Operating a counterbalance forklift in a fast-paced environment, moving, loading, unloading trucks and sorting freight.

What’s on offer:

• Ongoing opportunity with potential for long-term work
• Must be available Monday to Friday
• Afternoon shift 2:30 PM starts

Key responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift- counterbalance, to move, stack, and organise freight
• Pallet breakdown and consolidation
• Labelling scanning and sorting parcel freight and cartons
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting
• Working within a busy warehouse/transport environment.

To be successful, you will have

• A current forklift licence with a minimum of 2 year’s experience
• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• High level of physical fitness, including the ability to repetitively lift up to 25kg
• Ability to perform continuous manual handling tasks
• Willingness to complete an Australian Federal Police Check and Global Sanctions Check
• Ability to pass a full medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Appropriate PPE (safety boots)
