About the role

Stanes Transport is a locally owned and operated family business in Alice Springs. We are a growing transport company servicing Central Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Alice Springs team in a full-time role. This position plays a key part in our daily freight and warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
• Handling general freight, pallets, and containers
• Moving freight safely within the depot
• Picking, packing, and staging orders
• General yard and warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About you

• A valid Forklift Licence (LF or LO)
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a medical and/or drug & alcohol screening if required
