Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks, to efficiently load, unload, and organize goods within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure safe and accurate movement of inventory, supporting seamless warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo lifts, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Load and unload shipments accurately using barcode scanning systems for logistics tracking.
• Pick and prepare orders with precision using order picker equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow manual handling protocols for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar machinery.
• Valid forklift certification and knowledge of forklift safety protocols are essential.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and barcode scanning for logistics.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing.
• Experience with shipping & receiving procedures in a warehouse distribution setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
• Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety during heavy lifting tasks.
• Prior warehouse experience involving materials handling equipment operation is highly preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
