Forklift Driver

Duties

• Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload shipments.
• Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes, updating warehouse management systems, and maintaining precise records of materials handled.
• Assist with order picking and shipping & receiving tasks to meet daily distribution goals.
• Follow OSHA and warehouse safety protocols diligently during all materials handling activities.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to heavy lifting safety standards and manual handling procedures.
• Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing stock in designated areas and ensuring proper storage practices.

Skills

• Proven experience operating various types of forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations such as inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements.
• Excellent understanding of forklift safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards.
• Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling while maintaining safety standards in production environments.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
