Due to continued business growth, ESG Drysdale is looking to expand our team at our factory in Cockburnspath.

ESG Drysdale is one of the UK’s largest growers and processors of fresh vegetables, supplying high-quality produce nationwide. Based on the east coast of Scotland, our Cockburnspath factory offers the opportunity to work in a busy, well-established, and professional food production environment.

The Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Driver to support our factory operations at Cockburnspath. This is a hands-on role involving the safe operation of a forklift truck to move materials, handle stock, and prepare products for dispatch, helping to ensure the smooth running of our factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift truck to move products and materials safely and efficiently
• Unloading and transporting materials ready for incoming vehicles
• Locating and moving stock onto pallets or into crates for storage or shipment
• Preparing products for dispatch
• Carrying out routine checks and reporting any potential repairs or maintenance requirements
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and activity logs
• Following all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
• Working collaboratively as part of the wider factory team to meet production and dispatch schedules

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a forklift truck
• A valid FLT licence or relevant certification
• A strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A reliable, practical, and safety-conscious attitude
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• A flexible approach to duties and operational requirements

Pay: £13.10-£19.65 per hour
