Forklift Driver - FMCG | Dayshift

Join a Growing Food Manufacturing Team – We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Day Shift Forklift Driver to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role
As a Forklift Driver, you will play an important role in keeping warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload and move raw materials and finished goods.
• Supply production lines with ingredients, packaging and materials to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
• Remove finished products from production areas and transfer them to designated storage locations.
• Receive incoming deliveries and ensure stock is correctly checked, stored and rotated.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock checks and cycle counts.
• Follow FIFO, food safety, hygiene and quality procedures at all times.
• Ensure products and materials are stored safely and correctly within designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe warehouse and production environment.
• Follow all WHS, food safety and site operating procedures.
• Support production and warehouse teams with general duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid forklift license with demonstrated forklift operating experience.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, FMCG or distribution environment.
• The ability to safely lift and move products safely
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive, reliable and positive attitude.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and efficiency.
