Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative – Fixed Term Contract

Martin Ryan Haulage are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver/ Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Tipperary Town.

We currently have:

• One 6-month fixed term contract

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse operating to BRC AA+ standards with an immediate start available.

Role Details

• Full-time position – 40 hours per week
• €15.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Working hours will vary between 7:00am and 6:00pm
• Possible weekend work during busy periods

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Pick, inspect and load customer orders while adhering to strict safety and quality standards
• Load and unload deliveries accurately
• Check inbound paperwork and ensure all details are correct
• Work closely with Warehouse Administration and Operations teams
• Ensure all materials are stored and organised correctly in line with warehouse procedures and regulations
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) effectively
• Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards in line with BRC AA+ requirements
• Support general warehouse operations as required

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence required
• 1–2 years’ warehouse/forklift experience required
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and dependable
• Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Shunting experience
• Manual handling certificate
• Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE)
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
