Forklift Driver / Warehouse Worker

About the role

Edenstone Masonry Pty Ltd is a family-owned business seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our team in Pinkenba, QLD. This is a full-time position based at our facility where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our manufacturing business.

What you'll be doing

• Operating forklift

• Loading & Unloading trucks

• Organising, stacking manufactured products & placing in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems

• Following all warehouse protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and organised working environment

• Assisting with stock-taking and inventory management activities as required

• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations

• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and hazard-free at all times

What we're looking for

• Current, valid forklift certification
• Previous experience as a forklift driver or warehouse worker, minimum of 2 years experience required
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles and procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to safety protocols
• Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
