Forklift Operator (Afternoon Shift)

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize warehouse management system to prioritize and pick orders accurately

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, or other equipment to move materials and fulfill orders

• Perform order picking following specific instructions and procedures

• Conduct basic math calculations to verify quantities and match orders

• Lift and move heavy items while maintaining safety protocols

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience:

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution preferred

• Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment

• Proficiency in order picking techniques

• Ability to operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely

• Familiarity with basic math for order verification

• Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
