Forklift Operator - Chiller (7am Start)

Collins Transport is looking for a Forklift Operator in Wingfield, Adelaide!

• Full-time position
• 7:00am start-time
• Chiller and freezer work involved
• Monday-Friday and every second Sunday

Collins operates a large fleet of refrigerated vans and tautliners, delivering both interstate linehaul services and local distribution of frozen, chilled, perishable and general goods.

Your role will focus on warehouse activities and will include:

• Loading and unloading refrigerated trailers (via rear loading docks) and tautliner trailers
• Undertaking safe and effective restraint and storage of freight as required
• Using a forklift to move products across chilled and frozen storage areas
• Operating equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Identifying and escalating food safety & quality issues, hazards and risks
• Adhering to food safety and HACCP regulations
• Completing handwritten manual loading documentation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A current LF Forklift license
• 1+ years of forklift operation experience
• Experience working in chilled and freezer environments
• Experience with palletised freight
• Ability to adhere to WHS and Safety Regulations
