Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Manage inventory by accurately picking orders using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems.
• Load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to heavy lifting and manual handling safety protocols.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain precise shipping and receiving records, update inventory logs, and support warehouse distribution activities.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
• Assist with warehouse organization by stacking pallets, managing materials handling tasks, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts such as lift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory control procedures.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining efficiency.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting issues with material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and materials handling best practices.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry related to warehouse operations.

Pay: $25.70 - $30.95 per hour
