Forklift Operator

THE ROLE: We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team. You’ll be responsible to carry out forklift driving activities in a safe, effective and efficient manner.

This role is hands-on and suited to someone with solid experience in forklift operating, who takes pride in their work and is confident operating vehicles in different conditions.  You’ll need to be adaptable, able to work independently, and committed to maintain high safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift in line with company H&S polices and legal requirements.
• Ensure vehicle is maintained to a safe and legal standard.
• Complete pre-start checks before operating vehicle.

Pre-employment checks, including drug screening, Ministry of Justice checks, and role-relevant competency testing, will apply.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A current Forklift Licence
• At least 3 years’ driving experience
• The ability to work independently and follow company processes.
• A strong focus on health, safety and safe driving practices
• Good communication skills
• Physical capability to carry out manual duties as required.
