Sands Fridge Lines is seeking reliable and motivated Forklift Operators to join our busy Forrestfield operations team. About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring freight is received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently. Working within our warehouse and yard operations, you will support the movement of refrigerated and general freight while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

This role offers a consistent 11:00am start, Monday to Friday, making it ideal for candidates seeking work-life balance and regular hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts in warehouse and yard environments
• Load and unload trucks in accordance with load plans and schedules
• Accurately pick and stage customer orders for dispatch
• Pack, wrap, strap, and prepare freight for transport
• Sort, rework, and repackage products when required
• Receive and store inbound freight efficiently
• Conduct routine forklift checks and report any maintenance issues
• Complete scanning, inventory, and freight documentation tasks
• Maintain accurate records and follow operational procedures
• Assist with stock control and inventory movements
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
• Work effectively with warehouse, transport, and operations teams

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, transport, manufacturing, or logistics environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling freight
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to use scanning devices
• A proactive approach and strong work ethic
• The physical capability to undertake manual handling duties when required

Experience working with food products, refrigerated freight, FMCG, or transport operations will be highly regarded.
