Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including reach trucks and 30k reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and manual counting to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Load and unload shipments while adhering to OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage or dispatch.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials, managing space effectively, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklift types such as Sit down trucks and 30k Hi-Lo forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks and lift trucks; manual handling experience is essential.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA guidelines and forklift safety protocols. (Will be certified with us)
• Strong understanding of materials handling procedures, shipping & receiving processes, and warehouse operations.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry; attention to detail is critical.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively.
• Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred; previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
• We operate HEAVY materials. This is more than a typical "Pallet location move."
• Preferably someone with Heavy Equipment experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
