Forklift Operator

Position: Forklift Operator
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. The operator will be responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and storing materials while maintaining a safe and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and warehouse shipments.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, pallets, and other inventory.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with picking, packing, and general warehouse activities when required.
• Ensure materials are properly secured during movement.
• Work effectively with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams.

Requirements:

• Previous forklift/material-handling experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
