Forklift Operator

Updike Distribution Logistics is seeking an experienced and dependable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Candidates must have hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts, single/double pallet forklifts, and reach trucks.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down, single/double pallet, and reach truck forklifts.
• Load, unload, move, and stage freight throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately pick, organize, and prepare products for shipment.
• Assist with receiving, inventory management, and warehouse organization.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Required experience operating sit-down, single/double pallet, and reach truck forklifts.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience required.
• Ability to safely and efficiently move freight in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as needed.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• 2 - 3 years: Forklift Experience
