Forklift Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished goods, and other materials within the factory premises.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas, and production locations.
• Transfer materials between stores, production, and dispatch departments as per requirements.
• Ensure proper stacking, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report any defects.
• Maintain material movement records and follow inventory handling procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and workplace housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, and Dispatch teams for timely material movement.

Required Skills

• Valid forklift operator licence or authorization, as applicable.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of material handling, load capacity, and safe stacking practices.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Responsible, alert, and disciplined approach to work.
