Forklift Operator

• Position Title: Warehouse Operator/Forklift Driver
• Environment: Warehouse
• Location: 1005 Copperstone Drive, Pickering
• Shifts: 8 Hours
• Days: Monday to Friday (may be required to work Saturdays)
• Rate of Pay: $19.99/hr
• Type: Full-Time Permanent

Responsibilities

• Order picking with forklift;
• Pick, pack, prepare and dispatch products as per order;
• Load and unload goods in safe manner;
• Ensured proper storage of products in the warehouse;
• Verify quantities and items accurately before shipping and receiving;
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Assist with assembly operations as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years related work experiences.
• Forklift License required – will provide training on site specific equipment as required
• Experience working in busy warehouse setting
• Demonstrated ability to read and follow instruction
• Excellent eye and hand coordination
• Physical fit and able to lift up to 60lbs
• Strong team player and can work independently
• Reliable and punctual
• This job involves sitting or standing for long periods of time
