Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle material movement, loading, unloading, and stacking activities within the warehouse or industrial facility, following company standards and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely for material handling and transportation.
• Load, unload, lift, and stack materials, pallets, and goods as required.
• Move materials between storage areas, production areas, and dispatch sections.
• Inspect the forklift before each shift, including brakes, tyres, forks, horn, lights, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure materials are properly positioned and secured during lifting and transportation.
• Follow designated routes, speed limits, and warehouse traffic rules.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement, where required.
• Report equipment faults, damage, unsafe conditions, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow workplace safety rules.
• Use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow company safety policies.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 10th or 12th pass preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator training certificate or authorization, as applicable.
• Practical knowledge of forklift operation, material handling, and load capacity.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and understand basic operational records.

Required Skills

• Safe forklift handling and maneuvering.
• Loading, unloading, and material stacking.
• Basic equipment inspection and fault reporting.
• Good coordination, alertness, and responsibility.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and operating skills.
• Other benefits: As per company policy.
