Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse distribution and keep inventory moving accurately and efficiently. The role involves operating material-handling equipment, fulfilling orders, and maintaining organized work areas.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and other approved equipment to move, load, unload, and stage products safely.
• Pick, verify, and prepare orders for shipment using order documents
• Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to record inventory movements, update order status, and locate products.
• Assist with receiving, put-away, replenishment, cycle counts, and general warehouse organization.
• Inspect equipment before use and report damage, maintenance needs, or unsafe conditions.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and keep aisles and work areas clear.
• Coordinate with coworkers and supervisors to meet daily workflow and accuracy expectations.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience; experience in warehouse distribution is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking, inventory handling, and warehouse processes.
• Experience with a clamp truck, order picker, or other material-handling equipment is an asset.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify equipment issues and complete routine checks.
• Basic math skills for counting, verifying quantities, and checking order information.
• Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to learn warehouse procedures and use a WMS or similar inventory system.

Pay: $18.25-$24.88 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
