Forklift Operator - FTZ

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift, pick daily orders, receive containers, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, experience using a scan gun for inventory control, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17 – $18/hour

Working hours: 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts)
• Load, unload, and stage materials
• Support order picking and warehouse material movement
• Assist with inventory accuracy
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines
• Maintain an organized and safe workspace

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required
• Strong safety awareness
• Warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Background check required
• Drug screen and physical required after a conditional offer of employment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, bend. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
