FORKLIFT OPERATOR

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a responsible and safety-focused Forklift Operator to assist with warehouse and logistics activities. The position will handle the safe movement of goods and materials within the assigned facility, including receiving, transferring, stacking, and preparing cargo for delivery or storage.

The successful applicant should be familiar with safe equipment operation, proper material handling practices, and basic warehouse procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate assigned forklift equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Move and position cargo, materials, pallets, and other items within designated warehouse areas.
• Support the receiving, dispatch, loading, and unloading of shipments.
• Stack and place goods in their designated storage locations.
• Assist in transferring materials between warehouse areas, trucks, containers, and other designated locations.
• Visually inspect goods before handling and report any noticeable damage or irregularities.
• Handle different types of cargo according to applicable safety and handling procedures.
• Work with warehouse and operations personnel to ensure materials are moved according to instructions.
• Perform routine checks of the forklift before operating the equipment.
• Immediately report equipment concerns, defects, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Keep the assigned work and equipment areas clean and organized.
• Observe company policies, warehouse guidelines, and occupational safety practices.
• Provide assistance with other warehouse activities during periods when forklift operations are not required.
• Carry out other related duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least a High School diploma or equivalent.
• TESDA Forklift Operation NC II certification is required.
• Previous forklift operating experience is an advantage.
• Background in warehousing, logistics, freight forwarding, distribution, trucking, or similar operations is preferred.
• Familiar with basic warehouse safety and material-handling practices.
• Physically capable of performing routine warehouse and cargo-handling activities.
• Able to follow instructions and established operating procedures.
• Dependable, attentive, and committed to safe work practices.
• Willing to work on-site and comply with the assigned schedule.
• Works well with warehouse personnel and other members of the operations team.

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
