Forklift Operator- Third shift

Duties

• Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform order picking using barcode scanning systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage of goods.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs or notify maintenance for equipment repair needs to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow warehouse safety protocols including OSHA standards and forklift safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Support warehouse management with distribution tasks such as organizing storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo lifts.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments and adherence to forklift safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload processes, and materials handling techniques.
• Warehouse experience with heavy equipment operation preferred; certification in forklift operation is highly desirable.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
