We are seeking an experienced Kanban Receiver / Warehouse Material Handler to join a well-established food manufacturing and distribution company. This position plays an important role in maintaining the flow of materials and supplies needed to support daily production operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse receiving, inventory management, material handling, and forklift operation. This is a fast-paced environment that requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work closely with production and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and other warehouse products against purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Organize, store, and replenish materials in designated Kanban and production supply areas.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure production departments have the necessary materials available to maintain daily operations.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to transport, load, unload, and organize materials.
• Accurately scan, label, and record incoming and outgoing materials using barcode scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures when handling materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of materials.
• Identify and report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and receiving errors.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving, storage, and Kanban areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and applicable food manufacturing safety standards.
• Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a similar position.
• Experience operating forklifts and electric or manual pallet jacks preferred.
• Familiarity with Kanban inventory systems, material replenishment, or production supply processes is a plus.
• Experience using RF scanners, barcode systems, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to accurately verify shipments, count inventory, and maintain organized records.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize warehouse materials safely.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
