Forklift Operator – (Days & Nights)

Our client is a leading transport and logistics provider specialising in refrigerated freight, operating a modern fleet of semi-trailers and B-Doubles.

Due to ongoing growth and operational demand, we are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join their busy team for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced transport environment, handling temperature-controlled freight and supporting daily loading and unloading operations.

About the Role

Working within a fast-paced, temperature-controlled chiller environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of refrigerated freight onto semi-trailers and B-Doubles.

The role requires a strong focus on workplace safety, load accuracy and operational efficiency, ensuring freight is handled correctly and vehicles are loaded and unloaded in accordance with transport schedules.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

• Current LF Forklift License
• Proven experience loading and unloading Semi and B-Double trailers
• Experience working in refrigerated or chiller warehouse environments
• Strong understanding of safe load restraint and freight handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced transport environment
• Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail
• CoR knowledge and understanding

Essential Requirements

• Must have your own freezer/chiller PPE (freezer gear) and be ready to commence immediately
• Availability for ongoing casual work with the potential for long-term opportunities
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening (if required)
