ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operator for an ongoing opportunity based in Huntingwood, NSW.
This role is with a well-established supplier and distributor of food ingredients, baking products, and manufacturing materials, supporting customers across Australia.
You will be working within a busy warehouse environment, managing inbound and outbound freight, stock replenishment, and inventory movements while operating both High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.

⏰ Hours: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating High Reach Forklifts (up to 7 racking levels high)
• Counterbalance Forklift operation
• Receiving inbound freight and stock
• Put-aways and stock replenishment
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Dispatch and order preparation
• Inventory movements and stock control
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity.
To be successful, you will have:
✅ Current LF Forklift Licence
✅ Previous High Reach Forklift experience
✅ Experience operating racking up to 7 bays high
✅ Counterbalance Forklift experience
✅ Previous receiving and dispatch experience
✅ Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
✅ Reliable transport and strong attendance record
✅ Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
Highly Regarded:

• Experience within food manufacturing or distribution environments
• RF scanning experience
• Inventory management experience
