About the role
We’re a local wholesale lumber distributor looking for a dependable, energetic forklift operator to join our yard team. You’ll pull and cut customer orders, load delivery trucks, and help keep our inventory accurate and our yard running smoothly. If you take pride in getting it right the first time and like staying busy, this is a great fit.

What you’ll do

• Safely operate a forklift according to company training and safety standards
• Pull, cut, and stage customer orders for shipment
• Check orders and paperwork for accuracy before they go out
• Load delivery trucks and unload incoming material
• Receive inventory and put product in the correct stock location
• Keep your work area, the yard, and the warehouses clean and safe
• Help with periodic inventory counts

What we’re looking for

• Forklift experience pulling orders or loading trucks preferred, but we’ll train the right person
• Experience with engineered wood products (LVL, I-joists, etc.) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and keep a good pace when things get busy
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Verifiable work history
