Forklift Technician

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Technician to join our growing team. Based in Henderson, Auckland with regular travel!

About the role

The role offers plenty of variety, independence, and the opportunity to work with a supportive, professional team that values quality workmanship. You will work on machinery, both in the field and in the workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work on forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Complete accurate job cards, service reports, and timesheets
• Maintain safety, compliance, and presentation of your vehicle and tools
• Communicate clearly with customers and the coordination team
• Identify parts requirements and assist with quotations or additional work recommendations

About you

• Legal Right to Work in NZ (NZ Citizen, Resident, or valid Work Visa)
• Recognised Trade Qualification (Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or equivalent)
• 3**+ years experience as a technician on relevant equipment**
• Proven mechanical and electrical diagnostic and repair skills
• Current NZ Driver's Licence (Class 1 minimum)
• Forklift Operator Licence
• Commitment to compliance and safety procedures
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and customer focus
• A proactive and collaborative team player

Pay rate of $37 to $43 per hour with room for growth and progression. All tools of the trade will be provided.
