Forklift Technician with Class A CDL

Teknia Material Handling is a Hyundai forklift dealer in Pinellas Park. We sell, rent and service forklifts across the Tampa Bay area, and our service team is growing.

We're looking for a forklift technician who also holds a Class A CDL. Part of the week you'll be working on forklifts in our shop and at customer sites. The rest of the time you'll be hauling equipment, ours and our customers', to and from job sites.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair forklifts: engines, hydraulics, electrical, brakes and masts
• Preventive maintenance and inspections
• Haul forklifts and other heavy equipment on our truck (rollback / tilt deck style)
• Load, unload and tie down equipment safely
• Keep work orders and paperwork accurate

What you need

• Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card
• Forklift or heavy equipment repair experience
• Comfortable operating heavy equipment, or willing to learn
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and a driving record check
• Reliable transportation to Pinellas Park
• English required

Nice to have

• Forklift certification
• Hyundai or other forklift dealer experience
• Your own tools (we provide tools)
• Bilingual English and Spanish. Se habla español.

Pay and benefits

• $32 to $38 an hour, based on experience
• Full time, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5
