Forklifting Associate

OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING! Location: Forest Grove, Oregon

Compensation: $20-$23/hr. DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00am-2:30pm

Who We Are Our client operates a well-established manufacturing facility on 5 acres in Forest Grove, Oregon—situated between the Coast Range and the Cascade Mountains. They began as a supplier of group operator air break disconnects and have since expanded their product line to include motor operators, ground switches, surge suppression resistors, and unitized phase-over-phase designs, among others.

What You’ll Do You’ll be responsible for operating various types of industrial trucks and forklifts to safely move, lift, stack, and transport materials throughout the facility. Daily responsibilities include:

• Operating gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric-powered industrial trucks
• Using forklifts, clamps, lift beams, hooks, and other attachments
• Driving, steering, and maneuvering equipment using levers and pedals
• Positioning forks or lifting devices to move pallets, skids, boxes, and materials
• Loading, unloading, and stacking materials by raising and lowering lifting devices
• Transporting materials to designated areas within the warehouse

The Musts

• 6 months-1 year of forklift or warehouse experience
• Ability to move/carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to read and understand a tape measure
• Reliable transportation
• Mechanically inclined
