Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Foreman to supervise and coordinate daily site activities for infrastructure projects, including roadworks, drainage systems, sewerage networks, stormwater systems, water pipelines, and utility installations. The successful candidate will ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, project specifications, and construction schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily infrastructure construction activities on-site.
• Manage and allocate workers, equipment, and materials according to project requirements.
• Oversee roadworks, excavation, backfilling, compaction, and pavement preparation.
• Supervise the installation of drainage, sewerage, stormwater, water supply, and utility networks.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, levels, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, subcontractors, and other construction teams.
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure proper execution of excavation, trenching, pipe laying, manhole installation, and reinstatement works.
• Conduct daily site inspections and report progress, manpower requirements, and technical issues to the site engineer.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Identify site problems and coordinate corrective actions with the project team.
• Monitor the proper use and maintenance of construction equipment and tools.
• Ensure materials are used efficiently and wastage is minimized.
• Maintain daily site records and assist in preparing progress reports.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma, technical qualification, or relevant construction experience.
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Foreman in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of roadworks, drainage, sewerage, pipeline installation, and utility works.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and site layouts.
• Experience supervising workers, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site safety, and quality requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Previous experience in UAE infrastructure projects is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with road construction, stormwater drainage, sewerage networks, and water pipelines.
• Familiarity with UAE municipality and infrastructure project requirements.
• Experience coordinating with site engineers, surveyors, and consultants.
• Availability to join immediately is an advantage.
