Forman/ supervisor construction

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman/Supervisor Construction to lead and manage on-site construction activities across diverse projects. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on-site, managing crews to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide team execution and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project requirements; communicate any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining quality standards.
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment.
• Oversee quality control processes, including inspections, testing (such as using an ohmmeter), and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs related to labor, materials, and equipment; assist in construction estimating and cost management efforts.
• Lead team meetings to communicate project updates, safety protocols, schedule changes, and performance expectations effectively.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, or Primavera P6 for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and collaboration purposes.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience managing construction crews on commercial or heavy civil projects with a strong emphasis on team leadership and crew management.
• Extensive construction site experience with a thorough understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid; experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, Prolog or equivalent platforms for project documentation and communication.
• Strong background in construction estimating, budgeting, quality control procedures, and contract management practices.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and managing teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
