Job Title: Landscape & Snow Foreman/Operator

Job Summary:

The Landscape & Snow Foreman/Operator is responsible for overseeing landscaping and snow removal operations, ensuring high-quality service and efficient use of equipment and personnel. This role involves supervising crews, operating heavy machinery, and performing hands-on work in all seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

Landscaping Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise landscaping crews in the installation and maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and hardscapes.

• Operate and maintain landscape equipment, including skid steers, excavators, mowers, trimmers, and other tools.

• Ensure projects are completed efficiently, meeting company quality standards and client expectations.

• Train and mentor crew members in best practices, equipment use, and safety protocols.

• Maintain records of work completed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.

Snow Removal Responsibilities:

• Supervise and participate in snow removal operations, including plowing, shoveling, salting, and de-icing.

• Operate snow removal equipment such as plow trucks, skid steers, loaders, and salt spreaders.

• Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations as needed to ensure timely and effective service.

• Coordinate with team members and dispatch to cover scheduled routes and emergency snow events.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in landscaping, snow removal, or related fields.

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and plow trucks.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team in both landscaping and snow removal operations.

• Strong understanding of landscape design, plant care, and seasonal maintenance.

• Willingness to work long hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as required by weather conditions.

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hardscaping, irrigation, and drainage solutions.

• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
