Position Overview

We are seeking a Formulation manager to join our Research & Development (R&D) team.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of pharmaceutical formulations, supporting both new product development and the successful transfer of technology to manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical formulations.
• Design, plan, and execute laboratory studies and experimental trials.
• Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports.
• Participate in stability studies and data evaluation.
• Support scale-up activities and technology transfer projects.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and internal quality procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of industrial experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, preferably involving oral dosage forms (solid and/or liquid). Experience focused primarily on injectable products is not considered directly relevant to this position.
• Demonstrated experience in the development of pharmaceutical formulations, including product optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer activities.
• Proven participation in at least one or two successful commercial product launches, preferably involving complex generic products.
• Experience in the development and commercialization of modified-release and/or extended-release formulations is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of GMP principles and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of successful development and launch of complex oral drug products in regulated markets.
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE), statistical tools, and formulation optimization methodologies.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and responding to technical development queries from health authorities.

The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, and overall assessment, in accordance with the company’s compensation policy and applicable employment legislation.
