Formwork Carpenter

About the role

This role entails a hands-on approach to formwork carpentry on civil construction projects. The successful applicant must be reliable, self-motivated and able to problem-solve. The right candidate must be willing to travel, as jobs are in both metropolitan and regional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Forming up stairs, radius formwork and Class 1 finishing work
• Reading and interpreting plans on site
• Working in a team environment
• Adhering to all site safety requirements
• Meeting deadlines and working under pressure

About you

• Two years' experience working as a formwork carpenter on civil projects
• Current White Card and trade-qualified or relevant industry experience
• Valid driver's licence
• Own tools
• Ability to read plans
• Carpentry skills for forming up stairs, radius formwork and Class 1 finishing work
• Punctual and able to work in a team environment
• Ability to provide references and show examples of previous work
• Strong commitment to safety and work health and safety (WHS)
