Formworker

Workforce International are seeking a skilled Formworker/Carpenter to join our team in Tomago. Our client supplies to a wide range of industries including civil infrastructure, communications, building and construction. This role might suit someone who has previous experience as a formworker in a similar space - Trade qualification desired however not essential.

• $45.00-$51.19/hour + applicable penalties

• 5 days per week with optional Saturday shifts

What you'll be doing

• Assembling, erecting, and dismantling concrete forms
• Ensuring forms are properly braced, aligned, and secured
• Assisting with concrete pours and general labour
• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Dismantling and removing formwork safely
• Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification in carpentry highly desired however not required
• Demonstrated experience in formwork carpentry
• Ability to read and work to plans/technical drawings
• MUST have an OH&S Construction Induction card (White Card)
• MUST have the ability to pass a functional assessment including drug and alcohol screening
• Strong practical skills and the ability to work with a range of hand and power tools
• A keen focus on safety and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team
